The 2022 Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid lineup has expanded with the addition of the Platinum Edition variant. This follows the Panamera E-Hybrid sedan, which was the first to get this treatment. Like its low-riding sibling, the Cayenne E-Hybrid Platinum Edition gets more standard equipment and Satin Platinum exterior design elements to strengthen its value proposition. The front air intakes, the Porsche logo embedded on the LED taillights, and the model designation are finished in Satin Platinum. It also gets 21-inch RS Spyder Design alloy wheels, black sport exhaust tips, and black window surrounds. In addition to solid white and black, you can order the Cayenne Platinum Edition in several metallic colors include Jet Black, Carrara White, Mahogany, Moonlight Blue, and Chalk.
Inside, the 2022 Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid Platinum Edition gets Chalk seat belts, aluminum door sills with Platinum Edition script, and aluminum trim for the interior. You also get more standard features, which include a panoramic sunroof, a 14-speaker Bose surround sound system, adaptive headlights, ambient lighting, built-in navigation, heated eight-way adjustable front sport seats, and headrests with the Porsche crest embedded on them.
You can also customize your Cayenne E-Hybrid Platinum Edition via the Porsche Manufaktur program. This gives you access to a wide variety of personalization options including alloy wheels up to 22 inches in diameter and the Paint to Sample option, which lets you choose from a wider selection of exterior colors including heritage ones. For the interior, you’ll be able to choose two-tone leather options including black/red or blue/Chalk combination. There’s also a Club Leather option available in Truffle Brown or a combination of that and Cohiba Brown. You can even get your car keys painted in the same color as your vehicle.
In typical Porsche fashion, the options list for the Cayenne Platinum Edition is extensive. The Premium Package Plus adds 14-way power front seats with memory and ventilation, heated rear seats, blind-spot monitoring, four-zone climate control, and LED Matrix headlights. Porsche’s InnoDrive system, which includes adaptive cruise control, can be had as a stand-alone option or as part of the Assistance package, which includes a surround-view camera, a head-up display, and night vision. Stand-alone options include remote parking, soft-close doors, a heated windshield, massaging front and rear seats, ventilated rear seats, a heated steering wheel, a Burmester 3D surround sound system, wireless charging, and a rear-seat entertainment system.

In total, the system makes 455 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. In all-electric mode, the Cayenne E-Hybrid Platinum Edition can travel up 17 miles before the gas engine kicks in. When driven as a hybrid, the EPA rates it at 20/22/21 mpg city/highway/combined.
