Along with learning about the updated Model S today, we learned some more information about the upcoming changes to the Model X, including the Plaid version.
Available for ordering now, the Tesla Model X Plaid has the same interior as the Model S. That means that there is a new horizontal touch screen in the center, and a new digital instrument cluster. Additionally, there is the half steering wheel.
The Model X Plaid is claimed to go from 0 to 60 mph in 2.5 seconds, thanks to its 3 electric motors making 1,050 horsepower. It has a top speed of 163 mph and is rated at 340 miles of range.
The Model X Plaid will be available in 5, 6, or 7 passenger configurations.
It has a starting price of $121,190 and is available, according to Tesla’s configuration tool, in April.
