Toyota has announced the introduction of the Crown Signia, expanding its Crown series into the SUV segment. The 2025 model, debuting as the second Crown vehicle in the U.S., integrates the longstanding Toyota Crown tradition of quality into a crossover SUV design.
The Crown Signia features a hybrid powertrain and on-demand all wheel drive. Available in XLE and Limited grades, it emphasizes comfort and style, with a cabin that includes leather-trimmed seating and advanced technology like a 12.3-inch multimedia touchscreen.
Powered by a 2.5-liter engine and two electric motors, the Crown Signia offers 243 horsepower and an estimated 36 MPG. Its design includes a wide stance, optional 21-inch wheels, and a Toyota Hammerhead front end. The vehicle also offers a roomy interior with flexible cargo space.
As part of Toyota’s “Beyond Zero” initiative, the Crown Signia represents the company’s efforts toward carbon neutrality. It’s a significant addition to Toyota’s lineup, which will include 19 electrified models in the U.S. The Crown Signia is expected to be available at dealerships in the summer of 2024.
