It might not be as exciting as shooting down a Chinese spy balloon, but you are now looking at the production version of the 2025 Ram 1500 REV electric pickup truck.
Later today, during the Super Bowl, the Ram 1500 REV will appear in one of the commercials. During that commercial, people who are interested in reserving one of the trucks for $100 can do so on a special Ram Revolution website.
“The Ram brand has redefined the pickup truck segment before, and will once again with its all-new Ram 1500 REV,” said Mike Koval Jr., Ram brand CEO – Stellantis. “We believe in bringinthe right range of powertrain solutions to our customers, and the Ram 1500 REV will be the first in a lineup of electrified solutions that will add to our current award-winning truck lineup. We are on an exciting electrification journey that will see Ram push past the competition in areas customers care about the most: range, payload, towing and charge time.”
It wasn’t that long when we saw the concept of this truck debut. In fact, it was just over a month ago at the 2023 Consumer Electronics Show in Vegas where we got the first look at the Ram 1500 Revolution BEV Concept. Now, we’re looking at the production truck.

When we spoke with Koval at this year’s Chicago Auto Show just last week, he reiterated that the truck is going into production in 2024. The Ram website indicates the truck will ship in Q4 of 2024.
Obviously the production truck wasn’t going to wear some of the elements of the concept, but we’re happy to see the front grille and headlight treatment nearly unchanged from the concept. The rear tailgate area also has a light bar that extends onto the gate.
The rear-hinged doors didn’t make the cut, as the truck looks like a more traditional crew cab.
What matters the most is this truck is riding on the STLA Frame architecture.
