Polestar 2 gets another limited BST edition model

If you missed out on the Polestar 2 BST edition 270, you might want to line up and get ready to order the Polestar 2 BST edition 230 that was announced today. As its name suggests, it’ll be limited to just 230 units for the European and North American markets, but only 60 will be heading to the U.S. and Canada. That will bring the total units of BST edition models to 500 (270 + 230), so it’ll be interesting to see if the automaker plans to do another version for the Polestar 2 in the future.

As for the second limited-edition drop of the Polestar 2, this version places more of a focus on the performance design details, sporting an exclusive green Nebula exterior paint. Inside, the Polestar 2 BST edition 230 features MicroSude textile for the seats and the steering wheel inserts. Buyers can also opt for a black shade called Space and the full-length, matte black body stripe is optional. But regardless of which paint color you go with, the side mirrors are finished in high gloss black. Performance is set at 476 horsepower and 502 pound-feet of torque, resulting in a zero-to-60 time of 4.2 seconds.

All the chassis upgrades found in the original BST edition 270 remain in the BST edition 230, including the lowered ride height, Öhlins 2-way adjustable dampers with external reservoir, a front strut bar, 20% stiffer springs, and unique black 21-inch wheels inspired by the Polestar 1. Pirelli also contributed with specially developed P Zero rubber sized 245/35R21. And in case you’re wondering, those flashy brake calipers are the Brembo setup.

“Limited drops like the BST edition 230 allow us to explore colors, graphics and materials in faster and more creative ways,” said Thomas Ingenlath, Polestar CEO.
