Following the major Tesla Battery Day announcement, Elon Musk said that there is a Model S Plaid coming officially, and that it’ll be on sale soon.
You can order the car now, and it’ll ship at the end of 2021, according to Musk. Some stats quickly popped up on the screen, including greater than 520 miles of range, a 0-60 mph time in less than 2 seconds, more than 11,000 hp, and a lap time around Lagua Seca in 1:30.3.
Adding Full Self Driving is listed still as an $8,000 option.
