Canoo has announced that it will be taking reservations for its lineup as long as you put down a $100 deposit. The Lifestyle Vehicle, which is essentially a battery-electric van will cost between $34,750 to $49,950 depending on whether you get the base or premium model. It promises the interior space of a large SUV and is customizable to your liking or on the type of mission you want it to perform. Power output is projected to be 300 hp and 332 lb-ft of torque. The Lifestyle Vehicles can travel up to 250 miles per charge. An Adventure version will be announced later on.
Following the Lifestyle Vehicle, Canoo will also add a pickup truck that’s expected to have up to over 500 hp and 550 lb-ft, and a range of over 200 miles. Single- and dual-motor versions will be offered. The truck’s payload is expected to check in at 1,800 pounds. In terms of size, the Canoo pickup truck has a smaller footprint and features nifty features like an extendible bed, foldable tables mounted on the side of the bed, and dividers.
Rounding out the Canoo lineup is the MPDV or multipurpose delivery vehicle. This model is expected to get 250 miles per charge; however, it’s the least powerful at 200 hp and 236 lb-ft. In addition to offering a lot of space, it’ll offer bidirectional charging to maximize functionality by turning the car into a power source. You can also install workstations and create easily accessible storage areas for your equipment.
